4. Nomination Period
Nominations open on November 1, 2022 at 9:00 AM EST and close November 30, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST (the “Nomination Period”). Entries that are submitted before or after the Nomination Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Nomination Period by our online submission form.
5. How to Nominate
Tell us who you nominate and provide the reason for your nomination. Online Nomination Forms will be available at honeydewdonuts.com. Just fill in the details and submit. The details you provide will be used in our selection of Finalists and by voters in choosing Winners. You may submit an unlimited number of nominations. Multiple nominations of a person will not increase the chances of their selection as a Finalist. You may not use automated programs or bots to send nominations. Nominations and the information provided become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. We are not responsible for any delay in our receipt of your submission for any reason or our failure, for any reason, to receive your submission. If your nominee is a Finalist, you consent to the use of your name, your reason for the nomination and your relationship to the nominee to be made available on-line.
The Sponsor will, in its sole discretion, select 10 nominees as finalists for the Dew Good Award (the “Finalists”) from the qualifying nominations received during the Contest Period. Odds of selection depend on the number of entries received.
7. Notice to Finalists
The Finalists will be notified by email on or about December 1, 2022. Finalists will be required to complete, electronically sign and submit a Declaration of Compliance, including verification that the “story” upon which their selection was based, is true, and forward a photograph, in a form acceptable to the Sponsor, within five (5) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent in order to participate further. If a Finalist is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign the Declaration of Compliance on behalf of the Finalists and fulfill any other requirements imposed on the minor as set forth herein. Finalists are participants in this Contest and will be disqualified unless in compliance with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules. The winning of a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements and verification of the underlying story upon which your nomination was based. Certification of a Winner’s social security number and execution of a tax form shall be required before any payment is issued. Failure to comply within seventy two hours of notice will be grounds for disqualification. Inaccuracies in the information provided in the nomination procedure, or for the voting, will result in disqualification of a Finalist or Winner at any time. We shall not be responsible should we attempt to but are unable to contact a Finalist or Winner for any reason. If a Finalist cannot be contacted or fails to submit the required materials within the required time period (if applicable), or a prize is returned as undeliverable, or if a Finalist is disqualified, all of the Finalists rights to a prize are forfeited. Prior to the opening of voting, a disqualified Finalist may be replaced by the Sponsor with a nominee selected in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prior to the awarding of prizes, a disqualified Winner may be replaced by the Sponsor with a qualified Finalist selected in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor’s decision as to any replacement for a Finalist or a Winner is final and binding on all participants. Information, photographs and data provided by Finalists become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. We are not responsible for any delay in our receipt of a Finalist’s or a Winner’s submission for any reason or our failure, for any reason, to timely receive such a submission.
